JUNIOR STRUCTURAL DESIGNERS
The ideal candidate is a graduate (master’s degree) in Civil Engineering, specialising in structures, or Construction Engineering, and may also be at their first job experience. Supported by senior designers, he/she will be responsible for:
- performing numerical modeling using FEM (Finite Element Method) and general structural analysis, as well as conducting structural verifications in compliance with applicable current standards;
- draft specific project documents, such as reports, technical specifications, cost estimates (quantity take-offs);
- draw up graphic designs for the various project phases
- designing and 3D modelling in the BIM environment (Revit)
- Participating in structural site supervision, including on-site inspections (rebar checks, work execution checks) and back-office tasks (material reviews, construction detail checks, etc.).
Good knowledge of finite element calculation (SAP2000 applications) and CAD software for 2D and 3D drawing, design and modelling (Autocad and Revit).
Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude towards working by objectives and within a team — while respecting deadlines and budget constraints — complete the profile we are seeking.
SENIOR STRUCTURAL DESIGNERS
The ideal candidate is a graduate (master’s degree) in Civil Engineering, specialising in structures, or Construction Engineering, with 3 to 5 years’ experience gained in leading design studios or engineering companies, in the field of design and site supervision of structural works.
As part of dedicated project teams, and under the guidance of project technical directors (DTs), he/she will independently:
- performing numerical modeling using FEM (Finite Element Method) and general structural analysis, as well as conducting structural verifications in compliance with applicable current standards;
- draft specific project documents, such as reports, technical specifications, cost estimates (quantity take-offs);
- draw up graphic designs for the various project phases and providing input (and checking the relevant output) to the figures responsible for 3D modelling.
- designing and 3D modelling in the BIM environment (Revit)
- Within the structural works supervision framework, act as an assistant to the Structural Works Supervisor, managing interactions with contractors and the General Works Supervisor (DLG), overseeing both quality control on-site and participation in technical meetings.
An excellent knowledge of finite element calculation programmes (SAP2000 applications), CAD software for drawing, design and 2D and 3D modelling (Autocad and Revit) and applications for preparing estimates, economic assessments and metric calculations of structural works are required.
Strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude towards working by objectives and within a team — while respecting deadlines and budget constraints — complete the profile we are seeking.
