Complete renovation of the former Metropol cinema in Milan. The auditorium was demolished while preserving the existing reinforced concrete arched roof (Original project Ing. Cavallé 1948)
On the sides of the hall, balconies were built with lightweight steel structures anchored to the existing arches.
A basement and metalwork deck was built to support the slab of the new multi-purpose hall.
The building on Viale Piave is used as offices and a control room. The total area of the intervention is approximately 4,000 sqm
